About Folyra
Who makes Folyra, and why.
Folyra started in the classroom. Creative students make a lot of work during their studies, but often do not know which projects to choose, what to say about them, or how to put that online professionally without learning a website builder. Folyra is the answer: a guided portfolio system that asks, per project, what a strong case study needs and builds the page while you type.
What Folyra is
Folyra is a portfolio platform for creative students and makers: designers, photographers, developers, motion designers and illustrators. Per project you fill in a guided questionnaire (brief, your role, process, decisions, result, reflection), pick one of three design engines and publish at an address of your own.
Folyra is not a website builder and not a template picker. It is a constrained visual design system: enough freedom to make a portfolio yours, enough structure to keep it good. No blank canvas, no loose CSS.
Who makes it
Folyra is made by Nebra Studio, a graphic and web design studio in Plasmolen, Limburg, the Netherlands. Folyra is a trade name of Nebra (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 42093094).
Folyra deliberately started small, in 2026, with one goal: that ten real students enjoy using it. After that we scale what has proven its worth.
Principles
Your work stays yours. You keep the copyright on everything you upload and can always export your data.
No fake buttons. Anything that does not exist yet is marked “coming soon”, never presented as a feature.
Accessible and fast. Every portfolio stays responsive, readable and usable with a keyboard, whatever you choose.
Student-first, not student-only. A portfolio that starts as a school portfolio should still be your professional portfolio after graduation.
The maker
Sebas van Braak
Founder, graphic and web designer
Sebas van Braak is a graphic and web designer and the founder of Nebra Studio. Folyra began as an answer to a problem he saw in creative education: good work, but no structure to present it.
